After the Varsity and JV teams successful outing at the Canby Jamboree, the teams kicked off the 2025 campaign on the road at South Albany and Clackamas. The Varsity notched a 4-0 win over South Albany off a David Olvera brace and goals by Brady Morton and Josiah Hernandez. JV came away with an 8-0 win with Julio Alverez getting a hat trick, plus goals by Marcos Villaraldo, Alejandro Rincon, Hudson Suttner, Ranndy Reyes and Ethan Chavez.
The outing at Clackamas was a frustrating 0-0 draw for Varsity as the Tide couldn't capitalize on early chances to put away the Cavaliers. Owen Pintor tallied his second shutout of the week in goal. JV got their second victory of the season toppling the Cavaliers JV by 5-0 off a Hudson Suttner brace and goals by Guillermo Andrede, Alejandro Rincon and Ethan Chavez.
The Crimson Tide hosted two matches in Week 2 against OSAA 5A league leaders Centennial and La Salle. The Varsity saw their lead evaporate in each game resulting in two consecutive losses. Against Centennial Nate Pratt scored early and Josiah Hernandez added a second goal to retake the lead after the Eagles drew even earlier. A pair of goals in the last four minutes led to a frustrating 2-3 home loss. JV drew 1-1 in an abbreviated game due to multiple stoppages caused by lightning in the vicinity. The Tide's lone goal was a striking header by Guillermo Andrade off a free kick by Luis Zamora Cruz.
Number one ranked La Salle took advantage of a couple of defensive laps to hand the Tide a 1-2 loss nullifying David Olvera's goal midway through the first half. The JV team suffered a 0-1 loss on a late goal after a 74 minute back-and-fourth battle.
The JVII and JVII teams got their season underway hosting games on the grass field at Hare. The JVII team got off to a strong start with an 8-0 win over Liberty, while the JVII team took it on the chin with a 2-5 loss by Sherwood.
Both teams hosted Parkrose for their second match of the season with both team coming away with commanding 8-0 victories.
